On 20th December 2016 the Government of the British Virgin Islands passed the BVI Business Companies Act (AMENDMENT of SCHEDULE 1) (NO. 3) Order, amending the schedule of fees and penalties charged by the Registry of Corporate Affairs in BVI. The new fees, previously proposed for 1 July 2017, will come into force from 1 January 2018.

Seychelles is one of the jurisdictions that introduces changes, in fact a whole new IBC Act 2016, which in turn replaces the existing Act 1994 (Old Act). The National Assembly of Seychelles approved the IBC Act 2016 (New Act) on 26th of July, 2016, and it is in force as of 1st of November, 2016.
